It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we inform you of the untimely passing of our esteemed colleague, Samuel C. Hamilton. Sam was a dedicated member of the HEDCO family as well as a board member. He served the organization for an impressive 31 years and his sudden departure has left us all in a state of shock and profound grief.
Sam’s unwavering commitment and remarkable contributions to HEDCO as the former Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer has left an indelible mark on our organization and the communities we serve. Sam’s genuine kindness, compassion, and unparalleled professionalism touched the lives of those fortunate enough to work alongside him or to have had the privilege of knowing him.
In light of Sam’s passing, we invite you to join us in honoring his memory and paying our last respects at his funeral service. The funeral will be held this Saturday, June 24, 2023, at The First Cathedral, 1151 Blue Hills Ave, Bloomfield, Connecticut 06002. 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Viewing, 12 PM Home Coming Celebration
