Interns will work alongside HEDCO, Inc. staff to help better serve Connecticut’s minority and women-owned small businesses and other underserved businesses. This program will give students the opportunity to see how a non-profit economic development organization operates – providing technical assistance through its Business Resource Center and financial support.

For example, a communications, marketing, or graphic/website design major may help businesses design a website, social media, or other branded marketing materials. Other majors, like finance or accounting, may work alongside HEDCO’s highly skilled loan officers, Chief Financial Officer, or Loan Administrative Specialist.
